Meet at 7:30 am in the car park of the Perth Pony Club. To reach the car park, drive along Jon Sanders Drive from Perth and turn left just before you reach Selby Street. This is one of the waterbird refuges that never dry up. Herdsman Lake is located within the Northern Swan Coastal Plain Important Bird Area for Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo.
