Bush Skills for the Hills: Exploring the Hunter Gather Life

Join us in the bush and explore the traditional practices of indigenous people!

Discover the many uses of plants and animals, and try your hand at
making some traditional hunting tools. Learn how Australia’s first people
used the land and its resources sustainably.

Bush Skills for the Hills is a series of free workshops for the community. The workshops include a
combination of theoretical and practical information sessions, designed to give participants the skills
to manage and appreciate all our local bushland has to offer.

Registrations for each workshop open 2 months in advance of workshop. For more information, or to
register, contact EMRC’s Environmental Services Administration Officer on 9424 2216 or fill in the
registration form at www.emrc.org.au/bush-skills-for-the-hills-workshops.html
