Carl Haanappel Weekend Workshop

Carl Haanappel is an impressionist painter with over 25 years experience as a professional artist. Carl is delightfully entertaining and his workshops are instructive and challenging. He specialises in painting people in plein air and captures the personality of his subjects. His very wet method of water colour painting with few strokes creates wonderfully impressionistic effects. See Carl’s gallery of his art on his website:

Moore Arts is delighted to invite local artists and aspiring artists to join in what is anticipated to be a fun weekend of painting and drawing, taking advantage of the beautiful Moore River Estuary area, and based at the Guilderton Country Club on 14-15 May. The two-day workshop includes tuition by Carl Haanappel, charcoal drawing, plein air (working outside) and watercolours with refreshments, including morning and afternoon tea and lunch on both days and an optional Saturday evening barbecue.
