CCWA Welcome Night

6pm - 8pm, Wednesday 12 November - Lotteries House, West Perth

Interested in being part of CCWA’s Community Outreach team this summer?
Join us in broadening the movement by having face-to-face conversations with the wider community on how to take effective action on fracking, climate change, native forest logging, protecting urban bush and wetlands and more. Or get involved by organising events like film nights or creative actions!

Come and find out how to get involved at our Welcome/Info Night, Wednesday 12 November, from 6-8pm at Lotteries House, West Perth.

This evening is suited for new people interested in volunteering, and old volunteers wanting to get active again. You will meet our team, find out how you can get involved in a way that suits you, we’ll give you an update on current campaigns (those of CCWA and our member groups), and enjoy some food and drinks.

RSVP BELOW!

Who’s invited: This event is open to everyone – from experienced volunteers, to folks that are keen to learn and find out how they can get involved!

We hope you can join us and help to build the environment movement in WA!

If you can't make it, are already volunteering (with us or related), please help us promote this event by sharing (click on invite to see the share option), or inviting your friends. We need everyone, everywhere to get involved, and we are working with 350.org Australia, No Fracking WAy Perth, WA Forest Alliance, Save Beeliar Wetlands, WAste not, Urban Bushland Council WA Inc and many others to build this movement and our community outreach is part of this. We need 'general' volunteers, but we also need campaign and issue specific volunteers. Get in touch with Simone at simone.vanhattem@ccwa.org.au if you have any questions, or can't make it but still want to get involved and get active!
