Bonking Frog Wines is a small boutique winery dedicated to making quality merlot wines for pure enjoyment. We’re also highly focussed on sustainability and supporting our local area.
The 2017 Upcycled Garden Art Competition & Exhibition is set to release the creative juices of local artists flowing, by providing them with the opportunity to recycle, repurpose, and upcycle materials into beautiful, thought-provoking, useful and decorative outdoor pieces.
It also builds on Bonking Frog Wines' desire to create a sustainable future by exploring the creative potential of recycling, repurposing, and upcycling materials into useful and decorative outdoor pieces.
The inaugural event was held in late 2014 and again was run again in 2016 with both being a huge success … as such, we’ve decided to make it an annual event.
The 2017 Upcycled Garden Art Competition will have a theme of “Moment in Time” … this could relate to Historical, Mythological or even Religious ‘moments’.
Bonking Frog Wines’ General Manger, Julie Hutton says “We are looking to showcase the wonderful talents of our local artists whilst also showing the general public you can take existing resources and reincarnate them into something unique and stylish.”
