Friends of Paganoni Swamp undertakes rapid bushland assessments on a quarterly basis at four sites in Paganoni Swamp Reserve. We plan to complete two surveys on the day. We carry out a 20 minute bird survey, and then check presence of weeds, litter cover, tree health and evidence of different ant species. It's a great opportunity to observe the natural environment and makes for a pleasant morning ramble in great bushland.
