Stirling Natural Environment Coastcare Guided Walk

You are invited to a Guided Walk with Urban Bushland Council member group Stirling Natural Environment Coastcare Inc.

Thursday 14th May from 10.30am – 12.30pm

Take in the views north and south of the beautifully vegetated headland which has been lovingly restored by Stirling Natural Environment Coastcare. The guided walk will continue south to Hamersley Beach, taking in several project sites undertaken by SNEC and the City of Stirling over several years.

Interpretive explanation from SNEC members will outline the challenges and successes of shorefront re-vegetation. This walk will be of special interest to those involved in the preservation of our coastal flora, as well as anyone who loves a natural, wild coastline.

Meet in North Beach on West Coast Drive (nearest cross street Castle Street) at the top of the headland - in front of the carpark at North Beach Jetty.

Optional no-host lunch afterwards; members to make their own arrangements. North Beach Plaza is just across the street from the walk site, there are options for fish and chips, takeaway bakery, and of course BYO picnic on the beach. Visitors welcome.
