The first week of May is National Compost Week, and the South Metropolitan Regional Council produces TONNES of it from the contents of the green topped general waste bin. Why not get your family and friends together and participate in a free tour of the Regional Resource Recovery Centre in Canning Vale to see first-hand what happens to your waste once it leaves the kerb. Every tour participant will also receive a free sample of compostable bin liners, an eco-friendly way to collect household waste and plenty of useful information to help you recycle right!
