The Containers for Change recycling initiative is helping West Australians live in a cleaner environment, reduce pollution and create more local jobs. It’s a win-win for everyone.
Better yet, when you recycle with Containers for Change, you can donate your refund for every 10c container you return to the Conservation Council of WA (CCWA). It’s a great way to support a sustainable future in more ways than one.
You can be assured that every dollar donated to CCWA will be put to effective use in helping to conserve and protect our natural environment across WA.
You can do this in three easy steps:
1. Save Your Containers
Drink containers that have a 10c mark can be recycled at Containers for Change refund points.
Most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and liquid paperboard drink containers between 150ml and 3L can be saved. Make sure you take off the lids – these can be recycled too, just separately. Learn more about what containers are accepted here.
2. Find Your Local Refund Point
All across WA, there are refund points that will suit you depending on how many containers you’re returning. Find your local refund point here.
3. Donate your refund to CCWA
Quote our Scheme ID: C10329534 or scan the barcode below. The recycling deposit machine will do the rest.
Help spread the word that container refunds can be donated to CCWA. Send your family and friends the scheme ID or barcode. Take it one step further and share a photo on your social media of you donating your container returns to CCWA.
