Today we are winning - there are no uranium mines in WA. But we have to hold ground and defend our wins. We are close to reaching a critical milestone in the WA anti nuclear campaign.

We are calling on the new Labor Government not to grant approvals for these unsafe, uneconomic and unwanted uranium mines and to legislate the ban on uranium mining. 

Now more than ever we need to be lobbying, building the case, appealing to people’s hearts and minds, and offering a vision for clean renewable energy future.

WA has the potential to become a global leader in sustainable energy production - it's time to shift our focus to renewable and leave the nuclear industry behind. Money won't last forever but radioactive waste will.
