FOODwatch

Foodwatch advocates and educates communities on the threats of genetically engineered crops and foods, and their irreversible impact on the environment, agriculture and food security; and to inspire and support individuals and communities to actively campaign against the spread of GM crops and foods in Australia. Foodwatch has about 1400 members across Australia.
 
The three priority environmental issues for this group are:
1.         Maintaining the GM Crops Free Areas Act 2003 in WA
2.         Maintaining 100% GM-free organic national standards
3.         Promoting transparent GM-Free labeling in foods
