CCWA and Climate Action Now are proud to present our Hasluck Candidates Forum for 2022!
We know that Western Australians want bold action on climate. But with the 2022 Federal Election just around the corner, do you know how the parties and your local candidates stack up on climate action?
Come along and hear direct from candidates in the Hasluck Electorate presenting their party's plans to take action on climate change at our online webinar and Q&A forum on Wednesday 27 April 2022.
An overwhelming majority of Western Australians support action on climate change and measures to protect the people, animals and places we love. This is your opportunity to ask questions and hear first hand what all sides of politics are doing to ensure action on issues that affect both our people and our planet.
RSVP now to secure your online spot!

Climate Action Now (CAN) is a national initiative by a number of climate organisations, including the Climate Action Network Australia (CANA) and the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF). Its aim is simple - to show decision makers that more and more people in Australia support more ambitious climate action.
We are proudly hosting this event with Perth Hills Climate Change Interest Group (PHCCIG) and Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC).
PHCCIG are calling upon the Federal government to address the climate change risks that are specific to the Perth Hills, in particular:
- Bushfire risk
- Air pollution
- Decreasing rainfall and run-off
- Heat danger to wellbeing
- Biodiversity loss
We respectfully acknowledge that we will be broadcasting this event on unceded Whadjuk Noongar country, and pay our deepest respects to traditional custodians and Elders past and present. We acknowledge and respect the enduring culture of First Nations people in this city and this region, and their contributions to advancing a more sustainable Western Australia.
