Suggested wording when leaving a gift in your Will
If you wish to make a bequest to CCWA, it is important to include the correct wording in your Will:
I give, devise and bequeath to the Conservation Council of Western Australia (CCWA) the following (specify type of gift) and direct that a receipt signed by the Executive Director, or any other authorised officer of CCWA shall form valid discharge to my Trustees/Executor.
ABN 35 982 476 107, of 1186 Hay Street, West Perth, Western Australia, 6005 for purposes that it shall determine, and this bequest will be free from all duties,
(ABN): 35 982 476 107
- The rest and residue of my Estate or
- percent of my Estate or
- percent of the residue of my Estate or
- The sum of $ free of all duties and testamentary expenses for its general purposes and I direct that the receipt of that organisation shall be sufficient discharge to my executors for this bequest.
