Groundwater levels are falling and this is affecting our groundwater dependent wetlands and Banksia woodlands.

Ben Drew from the Department of Water will give an overview of how the Department is working towards bringing the Gnangara groundwater system back into a more sustainable balance over the next decade, including the process for developing a new Gnangara groundwater allocation plan, due for release in late 2017.

Mike Hammond will present specific information about management of groundwater on Gnangara and implications for banksia woodlands.
