Join our biggest doorknock yet! - 7 November

Will you join us to grow the Save Scott Reef campaign one doorstep conversation at a time?

Woodside’s Browse gas export proposal is a disaster for our climate and for Scott Reef – but it has no state or federal government approvals, and community opposition can stop this project.

We’ll be doorknocking across Perth to:

  • Build evidence of community opposition to gas by collecting survey data
  • Spread the word about what is proposed at Scott Reef
  • Grow the movement by inviting people to attend a local event or display a Save Scott Reef yard sign

Community pressure can force our politicians to advocate for Scott Reef, and local MPs know that another door knocked = another person in their electorate who knows how Scott Reef is threatened and wants them to protect it.

In July this year, we set ourselves the challenge to host our biggest doorknock yet, and our incredible volunteers knocked on over 300 doors in one morning. 🎉

Now we have a new challenge ➡️ How many doors can we knock on in just one day? Can we beat our record?

Will you join us?

In this two-hour doorknock session, we’ll tell you everything you need to know, pair you up with a buddy, and be there to answer any questions.

Come along to grow the movement, start some conversations, get some steps in, and Save Scott Reef! At the end of the session, we'll have a coffee together to celebrate your hard work.

What to expect:

  • 10 am - Mini-training, pair up, and start doorknocking 👋
  • 12:15 pm - Debrief and tally the results 🐳
  • 12:30 pm - Join us for a coffee or bite to eat at a nearby cafe. We'll share the location on the day ☕

All are welcome, and no experience is needed. To make this our biggest doorknock yet, we need all hands on deck 💪
