2020 has been an extraordinary and important time for people and affected communities taking action to protect their country and culture from the threat of nuclear activities in WA. The four uranium projects - Kintyre, Wiluna, Yeelirrie and Mulga Rock remain actively challenged and contested and we continue our advocacy and campaign efforts with vigilance. Thanks to our consistent and collective work combined with the low uranium price, none of the proposed uranium projects have achieved all the approvals they require to go ahead and the time frame to begin mining is quickly running out.
