Conservation and Biodiversity in WA's Farming Communities - A Major Regional Event

Yongergnow Australian Malleefowl Centre presents a major regional event from the 17-19th of September in Merredin.

Activities include: Malleefowl monitoring training workshop coordinated as part of the National Recovery Plan, Wildlife Forum with local and regional biodiversity experts, Wildlife Photography and craft competition over 3 days with prizes awarded, guided bush walks to the incredible Peak Reserve for schools and members of the public to visit a Malleefowl mound and to learn about the Malleefowl, hear about the spectacular local wildflowers and other flora and fauna, learn about the rich indigenous culture and bush tucker, wildlife projects for local school kids and colouring in competitions and face painting for kids.
