Fairy Tern Tales - Geraldton

Join CCWA and our Citizen Science Manager Claire Greenwell for a dedicated event about the threatened Australian Fairy Tern.

Dr Claire Greenwell is the Citizen Science Manager at the Conservation Council of Western Australia and Convenor of the WA Fairy Tern Network.

Claire recently completed her PhD investigating the life history, ecology and population dynamics of the Australian Fairy Tern and implications for their conservation.

At this event, she will be presenting findings from her research, and discussing the efforts being made by the WA Fairy Tern Network to conserve these vulnerable coastal seabirds.

Come along and hear about the latest research and on-ground activities being used to protect Fairy Terns in WA!

This event is being hosted by Birdlife WA.
