Dr Nic Dunlop is a terrestrial and marine ecologist with special interests in seabird populations. Dr Dunlop will speak about the new conservation project, the Fairy Tern Sanctuary to be located at Mandurah Marina that will assist in researching, monitoring and protecting these special birds. It is an opportunity to learn from a highly regarded expert about these beautiful endangered shorebirds.
Sue Kalab is a watercolor artist, her work is inspired by nature and aims to portray its peaceful and serene qualities. Sue will showcase her paintings on Fairy Terns and shorebirds and speaks about the fragility of the coast and what drives her to make a contribution to conservation through art.
