Wettenhall Environment Trust is a grant making organisation. The Wettenhall Small Environmental Grants support projects that enhance and maintain the vitality and diversity of the Australian natural living environment. Wettenhall like to fund small groups where our grants can make a big difference.

There are four grant round a year every year. Grants are usually under $10,000, but can be up to $15,000. Larger grants will be considered. Grants are considered for: 

• Projects that directly make positive changes to biodiversity conservation in Australia.
• Projects should have some short term outputs, but also have long term objectives and values.
• Projects that show the following: enthusiasm, collaboration, passion, innovation
• Projects that use citizen science
• Projects that are about community education relating to conservation
• Projects can fund equipment, wages, travel or what is essential to you carrying out the project.

• 8th December 2024 (for funding in February 2025)
• 24th March 2025 for funding in May 2025
• 23rd June 2025 for funding in August 2025
• 22nd September 2025 for funding in November 2025
• 8th December 2025 for funding in February 2026
