My family dinners have been an interesting experience this month! Last month, I took leftovers home in single use plastic containers (which I washed and reused), but this month, I had to look for alternatives every week.
I’ve been using a combination of glass bowls with paper or foil coverings, but today, my family gave me a Pyrex container with a lid as a gift! I was really touched by this show of support, and I’ll remember their good humour and patience every time I use it.
As Pyrex glass lasts for decades, this container is going to see hundreds of dinners. It will help me carry everything home, freeze and then reheat it. And it’s not going to spill!
