The next six months are crucial in the fight to Save Scott Reef — with key decisions expected on Woodside's Browse gas export proposal.
CCWA invites volunteers, supporters and grassroots groups to join us for a briefing and volunteer night — to find out the latest campaign updates and work together to grow the campaign.
Multinational corporation Woodside wants to drill more than 57 wells around Scott Reef for its Browse gas export project.
This proposal is among the most critical environmental and climate issues Australia faces.
Community pressure can force our politicians to protect Scott Reef. We've got plenty coming up over the next six months to build momentum, including:
- A special free public concert to highlight the wonder of Scott Reef
- A massive push for community members to make submissions against Woodside's proposals for Scott Reef
- Doorknocking, flyering, stickering, advertising, and more to get the word out about Scott Reef
To protect Scott Reef and our climate, we need all hands on deck. Join us to play your part at Perth City Farm!
All are welcome, but RSVP is essential.
We have a range of different volunteer activities on the night, including phone calls, data entry, and banner painting. After you RSVP, one of our friendly organisers will give you a quick call to confirm your attendance and discuss which task will be the best fit for you. 😊
Pizza will be provided. 🍕
