Woodside's proposal to drill for gas at Scott Reef relies on a risky and unreliable carbon dumping project — and right now, the Federal Government is seeking public input on Woodside's plans.
Woodside has submitted its Browse Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) proposal to the Federal Environment Minister for assessment.
The public now have until July 24th to make submissions about this carbon dumping proposal.
Browse Carbon Dumping would pose risks to endangered species like the pygmy blue whale and entail 50 years of dangerous seismic blasting.
This is your chance to tell the Federal Environment Minister Murray Watt that Browse carbon dumping would have significant impacts on Australia's environment and must be rejected.
The most effective way to engage in the process is to craft your own, unique submission. CCWA, The Australian Marine Conservation Society and community group Perth for the Earth are hosting a Submission Writing Workshop to help you write yours.
Join our Submission Writing Workshop to:
