Activity days are a great way to experience nature at a deeper level and to learn about our relationship with it. The ongoing efforts of the Friends of Brixton Street Wetlands and its growing volunteers help ensure the wetlands continue to be a thriving habitat for the the birds, frogs, quendas as well as the flourishing flora. Anyone can help out with the activities, and you are encouraged to be a part of the rewarding experience and enjoy the simple pleasures that mother nature has to offer.
Looking after your local bushland is a great way to become involved in your local community and the Friends are happy to welcome new members interested in lending a helping hand. The activity mornings are held on the third Saturday of each month, and you can meet at the Alton Street gate, Kenwick, at 9am. Morning Tea is provided (Please wear suitable footwear and clothing).
