Climate Storytelling Workshop: A Journey of Nature & Self

What drives your passion for nature and climate? Can you tell your story in a way that inspires others?

Go Beyond Gas, Doctors for Environment Australia and the Conservation Council of WA’s Climate program are hosting a joint workshop, Climate Storytelling Workshop: A Journey of Nature and Self, on Saturday 22nd November from 1-3pm

Join us to reconnect with nature and yourself, and learn how to tell your climate story in a way that will leave a lasting impression.

About your host:

Dr Richard Yin is a passionate advocate for climate and health, and is driven by love for nature and people, to create social change. He’s a fantastic facilitator and will take you on a journey to reconnect with nature, ourselves and rekindle that spark of joy again. While there’s so much bad news in the world, this workshop will focus on tapping into the feelings of joy and wonder and equipping you with the tools to share your own empowering story.

What to expect:

  • Feel grounded with a short guided nature meditation
  • Learn about concepts of shared values and relational meetings.
  • Reflect on your own values and story
  • Hear other people’s climate stories and practice telling your own.
  • Connect with like-minded people and feel empowered to speak up for people and planet.

Afternoon tea will be provided at the end of the workshop, so you can stay and mingle with others and foster new friendships!

Registration is free but essential. Please RSVP here.

See you there!

Please note: By signing up, you agree to receive communications from CCWA's Go Beyond Gas and Better Climate programs.
