Country Calling is an event platforming First Nations voices - their love for Country, their grief from the destruction of Country, and their fierce, unwavering commitment to protect it. Through poetry, music, and the power of story, this is a space where Country speaks through the people who have always known it best.

This gathering brings together an all-Noongar lineup of poets, singers and storytellers, united in celebration and in resistance. At the heart of this event is a call to action: to stand with Noongar people in the fight to protect the Northern Jarrahdale Forest from mining and deforestation. Country Calling is a meeting place for community connection, expression and solidarity.
