Gidgegannup Field Day

The Gidgegannup Small Farm Field Day showcases producers and growers in the Gidgegannup and surrounding areas. Talks and demonstrations have an agricultural and horticultural theme. There
is a Food and Wine Pavilion, Mounted Games a Discovery trail for the kids. Cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, llamas and camels. The annual Alpaca Expo. Trade stalls, fantastic food and lots for
the kids to do. The Bush verandah will be the base for childrens entertainment with hands on horticultural pursuits supervised by Matthew Lunn. Worm Farming, story telling, Bee keeping and
the Discovery Trail will be there. Camel and Pony Rides. Punch and Judy, Ricky Possum and face painting in the café entertainment area. Madjitil Moorna will be singing. Spinning and
weaving demonstrations. Food and Wine hall with great local producers selling their products. The Slow Food movement will be there as well teaching us how to lead a sustainable life style.
Chris Ferreira will be giving talks on the day along with other presenters. The Mounted Games will be on in the arena, together with working dog displays. Morris Dancers will be roaming the
grounds entertaining everyone. There is interactive craft for the children. Talks on Poultry management and sale of poultry. The Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm will also be there. An
affordable Family day with free parking and free entry to 16 years and under.

Adults $10. Just 15 minutes from Midland up the Toodyay Road.
