Join us to celebrate a record number of submissions against Alcoa's destructive proposed forest mining expansion.
Together, we made a massive 59,000 submissions to the Environmental Protection Authority, making it clear that Western Australians don’t want forest mining in our backyards! This wouldn’t have happened without the massive amount of community action that came together across this period. We want to thank everyone who made a submission, took to the streets, organised events, or spread the word, by coming together for a celebratory sundowner. You’ll have the opportunity to meet others from the movement and hear about what’s next in the continued campaign to draw a line in the sand on Alcoa’s forest mining.
