Bauxite mining is the primary cause of deforestation in the South West, with three of the world's largest bauxite mines operating here.
Bauxite mining is destroying ancient forests and pushing wildlife to the brink.
Yet, both the State and Federal Governments have approved further bauxite mining expansions.
