Come and join the friendly gardeners at Hilton Harvest Community Garden to learn how to get started on your own home veggie patch. We will go over all the basics so you can start growing food with confidence and without breaking your budget!

The Details:
There will be three sessions, facilitated by Sarah Nix and Amy Warne for a total cost of $15 for Members & $30 for Non Members for all 3 sessions.

All sessions will run promptly from 2 - 4pm and will be hands on with plenty of time to practice what you are learning and to ask questions of our two experienced gardeners.

Session 1 (14 May, 2016) will cover:
-> How to compost at home
-> How to worm farm at home

Session 2 (21 May, 2016) will cover:
-> How to improve your soil
-> How to use drip irrigation
-> How to make a simple garden tonic

Session 3 (28 May, 2016) will cover:
-> How to raise seedlings
-> How to plant a seedling
-> Veggie gardening trouble shooting
