Have Your Say: Email Your Local Politician

Every day we see the impacts of climate change – but we’re also in a biodiversity crisis.

Endangered black cockatoos, western ringtail possums, and green sea turtles are among many of our iconic and loved species that are being pushed to the brink of extinction. They're losing to unchecked habitat clearing for mining, oil and gas developments, and roads...

At the heart of this crisis are failing nature laws.

Australia’s environmental laws aren’t strong enough to stop habitat destruction, pollution, and climate harm.

But that can change… with you on-board.

Right now, we have a once in a generation opportunity to fix this and you can help. For the first time in over 20 years, the Federal Government is rewriting our national nature laws (the EPBC Act) as part of its commitment to 'no new extinctions'. You can be part of shaping our environment for the next 5, 10 – even 50 years, by helping to ensure these laws actually protect and restore nature.

Be a voice for nature.
