TPP: Politics in the Pub Perth

The TPP threatens to be a trade deal encompassing more than 40 percent of the world’s GDP.

Trans-Pacific Partnership proposals to allow foreign investors to sue governments over changes to domestic laws could threaten future regulation to protect Australia's special places. The TPP gives more rights to global corporations and it is unlikely there will be agreement on enforceable environmental standards.

Join this event, 'Politics in the Pub', on Monday 3 August from 7pm at Defectors Bar, 639 Beaufort St, Mt Lawley, with a panel consisting of Greens Senator Scott Ludlam, MP Melissa Parke from the Australian Labor Party and food security and March Against Monsanto campaigner Janet Grogan from CCWA member group FOODwatch.
