Together with the WA Forest Alliance, we have created a forest election scorecard to help you vote for the future of our forests.
Why your vote is critical
Right now, thousands of hectares of the precious jarrah forest are under threat from mining - destroying critical habitat for endangered species like Carnaby's black cockatoo. Meanwhile, harmful prescribed burning practices are increasing fire risk, and Perth’s drinking water is under threat of contamination from mining in our forests.
This election is our chance to demand strong leadership that will protect our forests for generations to come.
We've assessed the major parties on key forest issues - see where they stand:
How you can make an impact:
- Check out the forest scorecard and learn where the parties stand
- Share the scorecard with your friends and family - send them this webpage, or print copies
- Vote for our forests on Saturday 8 March - and encourage everyone you know to do the same!
With enough voices, we can make forest protection a high priority this election.
