We’re gearing up for the Woodside AGM on April 23rd!
Come along to a community workshop to plan the protest outside the venue, and bring our voices together to STOP WOODSIDE and SAVE SCOTT REEF.
Woodside is about to appoint a new CEO, providing a huge opportunity for a new direction and for the company to walk away from its disastrous plans to develop the Browse Basin and drill for gas at Scott Reef, a plan it’s already failed at twice.
Meanwhile, pressure is growing on the WA Museum, WA Nippers, Fremantle Dockers and UWA to cut ties with the company, and Custodians from Murujuga and the Gitxsan nation are together calling for an end to the destruction of their sacred lands, waters and cultural heritage. Together, we can make the AGM the focal point for our efforts and make a clear statement that Woodside has no social license.
Bring: ideas for messaging, signs and activations.
Access: Facilities are fully accessible. CWLH sits just next to City West train station, as well as CAT bus stops nearby. There is some parking available at CWLH.
RSVP to let us know you’re coming.
Please note this event will be held in person without video conferencing.
Can’t wait to see you and plan what will certainly be the highlight of the season!
