Meet at 7:30 am in the car park on the east side of the tennis courts off Clarkson Road. Travelling away from the city on Guildford Road, turn right into Peninsula Road and follow this until you reach a T-junction with Clarkson Road. Turn left at the T-junction and travel about 200 m along Clarkson Road towards the tennis courts, and turn right to reach the parking area. Buff-banded Rail have been seen here and it should be quite a pleasant walk along the river.
