Annual Conference for 2022 – Stronger Together: Collaboration for Conservation and Climate

The Conservation Council of WA is proud to host our Annual Conference for 2022 – Stronger Together: Collaboration for Conservation and Climate.

Join us on Friday 2 September at the Bendat Parent and Community Centre in Wembley, right next door to the beautiful Galup – Lake Monger.

Building on our sold-out Conference last year on our Bold Vision for Conservation, Climate and Communities - we will focus on the many opportunities for partnership within the environment sector that will maximise our collective impact.

Join us for a day of discussion, connection and collaboration – we will be showcasing the incredible organisations, groups and individuals doing inspiring work for WA’s environment, and building a vision together for what we can achieve as a movement!

This year’s Conference has been designed to maximise the opportunities for attendees to create new connections and build on existing ones in engaging ways. We are delighted to have Peter Kenyon joining us as keynote speaker and workshop facilitator, putting community building at the heart of our Conference.

Alongside presentations and facilitated workshops, there will be a variety of networking opportunities, as well as our annual sundowner and raffle!

Conference times:

  • Registration: 8:30am
  • Conference: 9am – 5pm
  • Sundowner: 5pm – 6pm

A full program will be distributed in August.

Your conference ticket includes access to the full conference and exhibition, catering, entertainment and sundowner, and offsetting our emissions. Plus, there are some incredible raffle prizes!

This is a COVID-Safe event following the latest health advice.

We respectfully acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land we will be meeting on by Galup - Lake Monger, the Whadjuk Noongar people, and pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present. We acknowledge the enduring culture and connection of First Nations people in WA, who have been caring for country since time immemorial, and the importance of First Nations stewardship for a sustainable WA.

This conference is hosted by the Conservation Council of WA, the state’s peak environmental organisation representing more than one hundred environmental groups and members of the conservation community in Western Australia.
